About the book
Squirrel Charades is a new take on the classic game of Charades, but with red squirrels!
The book contains 40 full-colour puzzle photographs, each containing clues to solve that will lead to the name of a film, TV show, book, etc.
The example on the front cover (see photo above) is a book, film and song with four words. See the book for the answer!
There are two kinds of puzzle in the book: over the page from each photo are hints hidden in a grid of letters (see example below)- try to find all the hints!
Puzzles are broken into 4 rounds of 10 each. Between the rounds are information on red squirrels, more photos, and how you can support these beautiful creatures.
Answers to all puzzles are at the back.

I took the photos during the Covid lockdowns and sent them to friends and family to help keep spirits up. Everyone loved the photos and encouraged me to turn them into a book even if it is a bit mad. Spending time photographing these beautiful creatures was a true joy. I wanted to help them by raising awareness of why they are endangered, as well as supporting the hard work of Penrith and District Red Squirrel Group, who will receive 10% of the publishing profits.
